Neon Fizz Appoints Rachel Wilson as Director
Dundee Agency Pops Corks as it Welcomes Director Hire
Six Months After Launch
PR and digital marketing agency Neon Fizz has appointed Rachel Wilson as Director, marking a significant milestone for the agency as it continues to grow just six months after launching.
The appointment strengthens Neon Fizz’s senior leadership and expands the agency’s digital marketing capabilities, with Rachel bringing specialist expertise in social media strategy, content creation and digital advertising to the team.
Elaine Fleming and Rachel Wilson first worked together in 2019 at Ginger, the agency Elaine set up in 2009, before going on to collaborate closely at a Dundee-based communications firm. During that time, the pair delivered a string of impressive results, including securing a CIPR Gold Award for Visit Angus, as well as campaigns for Active Dundee, Real Mary King’s Close and Gin Bothy.
Elaine Fleming, who founded PR & Digital Marketing agency, Neon Fizz, said: “Rachel and I have a fantastic working relationship built over years of delivering great work together and I couldn’t be happier to be working with her again. We’ve achieved some brilliant things together and I know that having her as part of the Neon Fizz team is going to make a real difference – both to what we can offer our clients and to the pace at which the agency can grow.
“Rachel is hugely talented. She brings energy, creativity and real industry know-how to everything she does. Her expertise in social media, from strategy and content to paid advertising and integrated campaigns, adds serious firepower to what we can offer. I may be a little biased, but I think we make a pretty good team.”
Rachel joins Neon Fizz with a strong track record in social media management and digital marketing. Her appointment bolsters the agency’s ability to deliver comprehensive, integrated campaigns that span press coverage, social content, paid digital advertising and AI-optimised storytelling.
Rachel said: “I’m absolutely thrilled to be joining Neon Fizz. Elaine has built something really special - an agency with a clear vision, a brilliant client base and passion to deliver work we are really proud of. After years of working together, we both knew we wanted to be part of something that felt meaningful. I can’t wait to get stuck in.”
The appointment comes as Neon Fizz marks six months since launch. The agency has grown rapidly, welcoming clients spanning luxury hospitality, aquaculture, construction and more, with businesses from across Scotland and as far afield as Birmingham already on the roster. Avant Glamp Lodges, Black Thistle Spirits, The Anonymous Project Charity, The Wheatly Group and Faith Elder Beauty have all joined the agency.
Elaine added: “Six months in and we’re going from strength to strength. Rachel coming on board as Director is a real milestone moment - it feels like the perfect next chapter. This is exactly the direction we want to grow in; a tightknit, expert team delivering work that we can stand behind, and most importantly makes a difference for our clients.
